As a Friend of the Queen Anne's County Library, you and your family members are invited to the second Annual Meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kent Island Library, 200 Library Circle in Stevensville. After a brief business meeting and review of our mission statement, we will be treated to the talents of Chef David Clark of the top-rated 208 Talbot restaurant in St. Michaels.

He returned to 208 Talbot in 2013, where he had gained valuable experience earlier in his culinary career. Chef Clark has been voted Best Chef of the Eastern Shore by readers of What's Up magazine.

What Staff are Reading
Andrea just finished...

The Paris Wife by Paula McLain

A NY Times best seller.  I love reading Hemingway, so I really enjoyed the perspective from his first wife, Hadley, of the struggles he, and she, went through to see his writing become a success.  The writing is really captivating and the research the author did makes the book feel as if it is really Hadley's memoirs, not a fictionalized account.

Other Staff are Reading...

Virtue Falls by Christina Dodd

Songs of Willow Frost by Jamie Ford

As Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust by Alan Bradley
