To celebrate its imminent arrival, we are holding our second Downton Abbey tea party. Expect goodies, tea, gossip and maybe even a little scandal. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Lord of the Flies by William Goldman Thursday, December 19 at 7 p.m. Book Discussion Group Join us to discuss William Golding's classic tale about a group of English school boys who are plane wrecked on a deserted island. It is just as chilling and relevant today as when it was first published in 1954. At first, the stranded boys cooperate, attempting to gather food, make shelters and maintain signal fires. The situation deteriorates as the trappings of civilization continue to fall away.
