For ages 2 - 5 with an adult Books, rhymes, songs and movement activities followed by a craft. Read, sing, play, write and talk about a different theme each week.
October 31 includes our annual Halloween costume parade.
Mother Goose on the Loose
Fridays, October 18 & 25 at 9:45 and 11:00 a.m.
For ages 3 months - 36 months with an adult Nursery rhymes, songs, movement, puppets and story followed by playtime.
 Trick or Treat Bags Friday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. For PreK - 5th grade Read a story about a happy witch, a cast of animal friends, and a hungry dragon. Then color a canvas Halloween tote bag using permanent markers and a kit from the Oriental Trading Company.
 Halloween Party Thursday, October 31 at 2:30 p.m. For Kdg - 5th grade Come to the library in your Halloween costume for crafts and some snacks! Tablet Magic Story Hour Monday, November 4 at 1:30 p.m. For Kdg - 2nd grade Together we will use an iPad app to create a story, such as a fractured fairy tale. Small groups will use toys, puppets and props to represent a story scene. Join us for a fun mix of storytelling and technology! Presented by Rachael Stein of the Eastern Shore Regional Library. Storytime with the Zoo Friday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the children's room For ages 2 - 5 Meet one of the Maryland Zoo's animal ambassadors as the ZOOMobile team presents an interactive reading of a wildlife-themed children's book and an animal-related craft. Pre-registration is required and space is limited to 35 children. Please call 410-643-8161. Cookie Decorating and Sweet Treats Exchange Wednesday, November 13 at 2:30 p.m. For ages 10 and up Decorate sugar cookies with us! Please sign up by November 11 so we know how many cookies to order. You may also choose to prepare a sweet treat to exchange. Recipe forms are available at the circulation desk. Pajama Program Storytime Friday, November 15 at 9:45 a.m.  For babies - age 5 with an adult Roll right out of bed and wear your PJs to enjoy stories, songs and rhymes. Bring a new pair of pajamas (toddler sizes through pre-teen) to donate to the Pajama Program. Face painting and goodie bags provided by the Pajama Program.
