End of Your Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe
Thursday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m.
Book Discussion Group
This is the inspiring true story of a son and his mother, who start a "book club" that brings them together as his life comes to a close. Throughout, they are constantly reminded of the power of books to comfort us, astonish us, teach us, and tell us what we need to do with our lives and in the world. Reading isn't the opposite of doing; it's the opposite of dying.

Tips to Learning Bird Songs
Tuesday, May 21 from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m.
Something About Maryland Lunchtime Series
You are out enjoying nature and you see the birds hopping and flying and you hear the birds singing. But wait! What bird is singing that song? You know what many birds look like, but those tweets and whistles and squawks are just too hard to learn...or are they?

Jim Wilson will provide tips on how to sort out and learn the songs of some of the birds that are in the Centreville area. He will go over some of the tools available to help you learn bird songs in the comfort of your home. For those interested, Jim will lead a follow-up bird walk on Saturday morning, May 25, at an early hour to take advantage of the Dawn Chorus. Comments, special requests and questions can be e-mailed to Jim Wilson at wlsngang@verizon.net or call him at 410-758-3717.
