October 9, 2015
Greetings! ,
Last weekend turned out quite unexpectedly for all of us, and we are thankful to have survived the rains, floods, & winds. Please continue to pray for those in the path of this weekend's rains & floods. We have several members who are happy to offer cleanup help - please contact Cameron Smith by clicking here if you or someone you know needs help.
We have a very busy weekend again at JIPC. First, our mid & senior high youth are holding their annual Hunger Strike to help raise funds and awareness for the Remember Niger Coalition. Our youth are fasting for 24 hours as part of the Rally for Niger, starting at noon on Saturday. They will fast until noon on Sunday, when we will all help them with a fabulous Break-the-Fast brunch. Plan now to join us for shrimp & grits, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, & fruit! Fellowship committee & staff are preparing the food - all are invited and welcome.
See below for the worship and activity details for Sunday, and plan now to join us!
