Dear JIPC Church Family,

All are invited to a time of silent prayer and meditation, joining with our brothers and sisters from Mother Emanuel and saints around the world. Feel free to come into the sanctuary from 10-10:45 am Sunday morning. You are invited to sit briefly or for the entire time. Scriptures for prayerful meditation will be provided.

In the meantime, we continue to pray for each of you and each of the victims of this week's tragedy.

In grace and peace,

Reverend Sam and Reverend Cameron

This Sunday, June 21, 2015
Reverend Sam Martin, preaching
Reverend Cameron Smith, liturgist

The Sanctuary will be available for meditation and prayer during the Sunday School hour.

with the
2015 Summer Service Challenge
for all ages!

Summer is off to a great start at James Island Presbyterian Church!  Camp Sonshine is every Monday at 10:30. Our MidHigh youth (& chaperones) are returning from their week of mission & service in Charlotte, NC. Twenty-nine members of our church family are traveling this weekend for the week-long Montreat Conference on Worship & Music. Our fellowship and Christian ed teams are presenting our next Summer Sunday Supper next week. As we've said the last few weeks: Summer is here, and so are we. Join us!

We have distributed copies of the Summer Service Challenge for children, youth, and adults. We have also issued our Summer Christian Education Catalog. They are also available as PDF's below. We hope you'll take the opportunity this summer to use your extra time at home and away to find new and exciting ways to show your love for God as you serve your neighbor in the name of Jesus Christ.

We will recognize all children and youth who participate in the Summer Service Challenge on Rally Day, August 23, 2015.
