JIPC Youth Ministry
Summer Events and Opportunities
|
Summer is here, and though school is out we have lots for you to do at James Island Presbyterian Church!
If you haven't picked up a Summer Service Challenge packet yet, keep an eye on your mailboxes for one to arrive soon. Inside you will find a multitude of ways and ideas for your youth to remain engaged in growing and exploring their faith over the summer, through study, worship and service. Track their progress on the back of the packet, and redeem a prize at the end of the summer!
As well, we will have a series of Big Youth Sundays over the next few months. These will combine worship at church, service in the community, and fellowship together.
Finally, Camp Sonshine is a weekly elementary mini-VBS that goes throughout the summer on Mondays from 10-11:30 am. We are always in need of youth to volunteer, contact Duncan or Cameron if you are interested in helping!
Sign-ups for all events are posted outside of Duncan's office, or you can contact him at duncan@jamesislandpc.org or 795-3111 to sign up or with any questions.

Would you like a way to get to know our youth, fellowship with them as they experience mission, fun, and growth together, and be a positive influence in their lives outside of a Sunday morning?
All of the events listed below--Big Youth Sundays, Sr. High Retreat, and Do.Love.Serve--will need male and female chaperones in order to happen.
Chaperones join along free of charge, and have the privilege of being part of something the youth of JIPC will remember for their whole lives, while forging real and lasting relationships as family in Christ.
To volunteer as a chaperone, or to talk more about what the opportunity means, contact Duncan at any time. Thank you!
