Greetings! Over the past few weeks, my faith has been uplifted and encouraged many times as I have been reminded of God's faithfulness and work among us. I am very pleased to report that your response to the session's financial request was overwhelming and we will be able to call a full-time interim pastor. Thanks to new and increased pledges, special gifts, and cuts from other areas of the budget, our Interim Pastor Nominating Committee is now in the process of interviewing candidates to serve our congregation during this important time of transition. Please plan to attend our Annual Meeting on January 25 at 9:30 a.m. Among other items, the session will present a budget for the 2015 year. Even with our challenges, we have much to be thankful for at James Island Presbyterian Church and look forward to serving God together this year.
In Christ, This Sunday at JIPC: Reverend Steve Cooper Cameron Smith, liturgist
