Letter from the Editor
Greetings! We've begun some new projects this month that I'm excited about. For one, we've started creating instructional videos, the first of which you can watch by clicking the video below. We've also started a referral program that can help you and us, so we're looking forward to hearing from you. Aside from that, I've got some other news for you, so read on! And feel free to email me with any comments or questions. I hope you had a wonderful day of celebration on Independence Day! Laura Van Valkenburgh Newsletter Editor

Some Websites Still Vulnerable to Heartbleed Flaw
Though awareness of Heartbleed began two months ago, over 300,000 web servers are still vulnerable to it.
As you may recall, Heartbleed allowed for the possibility of hackers stealing sensitive information, such as passwords or credit card information, from you.
It is likely that you will not be visiting any of the sites still affected by the vulnerability, as the Internet's top 1,000 websites patched the flaw within 10 days of the announcement. But it's still good practice to change your password regularly and be careful about which sites you share any personal information with. You can also download a Heartbleed detector for many browsers, such as this one for Chrome or this one for Firefox.
For more information about this vulnerability, please visit this article.
