Dear Fellow Disability Advocates;

You have the opportunity, right now, to be part of human rights history in the making.

The Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities, a treaty which promises to ensure the rights of people with disabilities on a global scale, is closer than ever to being ratified. Please join ILRCSF and a host of other disability advocacy organizations in working to make this happen.

There are some simple things you can do, RIGHT NOW, to help make this happen:

Find out about the CRPD: http://www.disabilitytreaty.org/

Plan to attend the  CRPD Hearing, which will be available via live webcast: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2013 - 2:30 p.m. http://www.foreign.senate.gov/hearings/convention-on-the-rights-of-persons-with-disabilities

Sign a petition in support of the CRPD: http://www.disabilitytreaty.org/app/sign-petition?4&engagementId=24062

Most importantly, share these links with friends, family, colleagues, customers, etc via email, social networking, blogging and/or on your website.

The CRPD is a HUMAN RIGHTS treaty...when ratified, it will make the world a better place for all of us, and for the generations to come. Your voice will make a difference!

I know I can count on you, as a friend and supporter of ILRCSF, to take some of these simple, but so very important, steps to help ratify this important treaty, and take us one step closer to a fully accessible global community.

Sincerely,

Jessie's sig
