Youngman Family Park planting
On 22nd February six volunteers planted 95 more native plants, extending the existing regeneration area behind the dog park. It was a great effort by a small team - the work was done in little more than an hour! Congratulations and thanks to the volunteers, and to Judy Roland for organising the event.
Why not take the easy stroll down the path from Geissmann Drive to see this fine example of our ongoing work?

Working bee at Manitzky St 8th March
Work is about to begin at a brand new site, the reserve at the end of Manitzky St in North Tamborine. A group of keen neighbours will hold their first working bee there on Saturday 8th March. They'd be delighted to welcome any other Landcare members who live close by.
The site coordinators are Caroline and Glen Edwards (5545 0453), who would be glad to hear from you if you can help in any way.

New Vice President
Judy Roland has generously offered to take on the role until the AGM, when all Executive and MC positions are declared open for election. Judy will also continue as Regeneration Coordinator. Those who have worked with Judy know she's an energetic, organised and active leader and team member, who is focused on practical ways of getting results.
Thanks for stepping into the Vice President's role, Judy.

New Management Committee member
Alan O'Neill's resignation has opened up a casual vacancy on the Management Committee. Elizabeth Russell has been invited by the committee to fill that vacancy. As a founding member of Tamborine Mountain Landcare and its predecessor organisation, Elizabeth is also the long-standing coordinator of the Dickson Park site. She brings to the committee a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of TML's history, aims and processes.
