We'll be delighted if you can join other friendly Landcare members at our upcoming planting day at the Botanic Gardens on

Tuesday 21st January, 8-11 a.m.

We plan to plant 200 trees on the grassed slope of the Gardens above the lake. This will create a mini-corridor linking MacDonald National Park and the Botanic Gardens rainforests with the reserves at Ohia Court and Contour Drive.

We'll meet at the Gardens car park at 8 a.m. Please wear a hat, sunscreen and covered shoes, and bring gloves and water to drink.

Morning tea will be provided.

Do join us for a good morning's activity, planting for a future of biodiversity.

New Storage and Propagation Shed

The Scenic Rim Regional Council has granted TM Landcare the lease of land off Hartley Rd near the Sports Grounds so that we can build a shed with funds provided by Energex.

This shed will enable us to store our tools, equipment and supplies safely, to propagate hard-to-source local native species and to store tubestock for planting.

We are very grateful to the Council for providing this land and to Energex for donating funds for the shed.

Our Management Committee representatives have worked hard with Council to ensure satisfactory lease conditions for TM Landcare. A subcommittee is now developing plans and getting quotes for the construction of a sizeable, sturdy shed.
