 It's been a great year!

Our sturdy volunteer site teams and our very capable contractor, Damien Draper, have continued the work of removing invasive weeds and regenerating rainforests on Council reserves across the mountain. Special thanks go to our Regeneration Coordinator, Judy Roland, for her fine organisation and her active attention to all the sites.

We also thank the many volunteers who have contributed their time, energy and talents in many ways to making our organisation so successful. Among them are those who staff our very successful Piccabeen Bookshop. The profits from our shop go directly towards our regeneration projects.

In recognition of our strengths as a volunteer organisation, Tamborine Mountain Landcare was this year awarded the SE Queensland Healthy Waterways Community Award. A great achievement, and a credit to all who've contributed.

All books will be on sale for 50% of their marked price for this one day only.

Tubestock native plants will also be available - why not put one or two under the Christmas tree for the keen gardener on your list?

Once again the Council have recognised the valuable work Landcare do removing weeds and restoring rainforests on Council Reserves by awarding us funds to continue that work in 2014. Part of this year's grant will be used to support the participation of Conservation Volunteers Australia at two of our sites.

Tamborine Bush Volunteers: Twenty-fifth anniversary

 Icon for Save Trees message

The TBVs have been working on the mountain since 1988, doing great work in our national parks - removing invasive weeds, revegetating areas and maintaining paths and bridges.

We congratulate the group on their work, which complements our own so well. A number of our sites adjoin the national parks which form a significant part of Landcare's Biodiversity Corridors Project.

Sincerely,
