The Midland Chapter of the National Honor Society will conduct the annual induction ceremony Thursday, November 8th, 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Congressman Mike Conaway will be the guest speaker. Potential inductees with GPA's of 4.500 and above were invited to join, and induction fees are due November 1st to Mrs. Boyd in room 207. Members maintain membership by completing two service projects after induction, one of which must be with one of the NHS endorsed projects, and by paying senior fees. The next NHS endorsed sevice project will be the annual blood drive November 15-16, and sign ups will be announced. For additional information, email Mrs. Boyd.

Do you play a sport in high school and would like to go on to play at the college level? Come to our seminar on recruitment and learn about the NCAA Clearinghouse as well as testing and eligibility requirements.Our guest speaker for the evening is Mitch Thompson. Mr. Thompson has worked as the Chief Recruiter at Baylor University. The seminar will be held on December 16, 2012 at 7:00PM in the MHS Auditorium.
