Greetings!

November is a great time to reflect on the past year and all that we have to be thankful for. At Voyager Bank, we are thankful for being able to serve you and our community.

Recently, Voyager Bank employees were able to make a positive impact at Feed My Starving Children, a great organization that we are proud to support.

Voyager Bank is also involved in the DECA program at Chaska High School. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Learn more about DECA and how you can easily help our DECA student's project in the paragraph below.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,

Scott Weaver

DECA Project Survey

With nearly a 70-year history, DECA has impacted the lives of more than ten million students, educators, school administrators and business professionals. Today, more than 3,500 high school DECA chapters prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for college and careers.

Voyager Bank is working with a DECA student at Chaska High School on a business marketing project. In addition to industry research, our DECA student is required to conduct a short survey of business banking clients. A link to their survey is provided below.

If you are a current business client of Voyager Bank please take a minute to complete the 6 question survey. Your response and e-mail address will be kept anonymous and confidential. Survey results will be compiled by Voyager Bank. Voyager Bank and our DECA student appreciate and thank you in advance for taking time to complete the survey.

Holiday Shopping Tips

When shopping for holiday gifts this year, here are a few tips to keep your budget in check and accounts safe.

  1. Create a budget and track spending. It's easy to get caught up in holiday gift-giving spirit, but avoid going overboard and set up a simple budget and record all your purchases.
  2. Comparison shop. Doing a little research upfront will help you know when to pounce on a good deal or pass it up.
  3. Online shopping savvy. Never purchase anything online when using public or unsecured wi-fi.
  4. Be wary of phishing scams. If an email sounds too good to be true, or asks for personal or account details, it is likely a scam. Click links with caution. Also, always verify a website is legitimate before entering any account information.
  5. Check often. Monitor your statements and accounts for any unauthorized activity. Always report any suspicious activity regarding your Voyager Bank account to us immediately. We will work with you to resolve any issues. For more information on security and protection tips, click here
