'Because Race Still Matters' Article Features Robbinsdale Area Schools' Successes 

Eric J. Cooper, Founder and President of the National Urban Alliance for Effective Education (NUA) recently wrote a column for the Huffington Post about the importance of recognizing and celebrating diversity. Cooper highlights Robbinsdale Area Schools and the work of Superintendent Aldo Sicoli and our school board. "Robbinsdale worked to develop a unified district vision for all students where race, culture, ethnicity, national origin and socioeconomic status were viewed as strengths to build on so that students learned to bridge the gaps between what they knew and did not know relative to subject-matter and higher-ordering thinking," Cooper wrote. Robbinsdale High School Alumni Association to Honor 10 Alumni

If you have a child starting kindergarten in the fall, please consider attending one of Community Education's Kindergarten Readiness Nights. The goal of the evening is for families to easily incorporate math, literacy and social emotional learning into their children's everyday lives, and to empower families to provide learning environments tailored to their individual child's interests and learning styles.
