Calendar Update Due to Missed School Days
Grades 1-12 will not need to make up any of the school days we've missed so far. Half-day kindergarten will make up two days on March 6 and 7. Click here to read more from Superintendent Sicoli.
I Love to Read Month Begins
February is "I Love to Read" month in all of our schools. We'll be posting photos of activities and events at all of our schools throughout the month of February on Facebook, including the reading doors at Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion.

Lakeview Receives Exxon Science Grant
For the third year, Lakeview Elementary received the Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance Math and Science Grant. Lakeview's principal Nichole Rens said she plans to use the $500 grant to build a rain garden for student projects this spring.
Sonnesyn Science Fair
Students participated in the annual Science Fair at Sonnesyn Elementary on Thursday, Feb. 6. Students shared their projects with others and received quality feedback from Armstrong High School students. Click here to see more photos from the fair.

Former Hosterman Principal Passes Away
Long-time Hosterman Junior High Principal Lyle Mottinger passed away on Feb. 5. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Spirit of Hope UMC, 7600 Harold Ave., Golden Valley 55427. Click here to read Lyle's obituary. |
