Robbinsdale Debate Scored Well at Sections
 

Robbinsdale Armstrong and Robbinsdale Cooper are headed to the 2014 MSHSL State Debate Tournament.Seniors Andrew Urevig and Seth Sandhoefner will represent Armstrong in Lincoln-Douglas debate. Seniors Olivia Heusinkveld, Maddy Hillson, Amanda Halek, and Luke Odenthal as well as Junior Seth Thompson will represent Cooper. The state tournament will be held at the University of Minnesota on Jan. 18 and 19. Middle Schools' Lego Team is State Bound
 
On Jan. 5, team LegoŽ Shazam! competed in the First Lego League (FLL) tournament in Elk River. The team consists of seven students from Plymouth Middle School and Robbinsdale Middle School.  Team LegoŽ  Shazam! earned a Research Project Award and took 1st place overall in their division at this tournament. In February, they will proceed to the Minnesota State tournament facing 69 other top FLL  teams from across Minnesota. Good luck Lego Shazam! as you proceed to the next level!

The Cooper Marching Band Performed in Florida  
 
The Cooper Marching Band enjoyed a trip to Florida during the winter break where they marched in the "Celebrate a Dream Come True" parade at Disneyworld on Dec 30 and marched in the Macy's Holiday parade at Universal Studios on Dec 31.

Get your tickets now for the Seven Dreams Education Foundation's inaugural fundraiser!  The Bird Bash is a wonderfully fun evening including dinner, entertainment and auctions. The party is a chance for our community to gather in celebration of SDEF's legacy of giving, and support our schools.

You'll recognize emcee Janie Peterson from her time as a local meteorologist on KSTP-TV and FOX 9 news. These days she and her husband Chris are partners at Peterson Productions, where e-Video services enhance strategic web marketing initiatives. Janie and Chris's kids attend Robbinsdale area schools.
