Northport Elementary Celebrates World School Milk Day

Students from Northport Elementary celebrated World School Milk Day on Sept. 25 for a Fuel Up to Play 60 contest. Click here to find out more about the contest and the program Fuel Up to Play 60.

 

 

Lakeview Student Ran 25 Miles This School Year

 

Every day, students from Lakeview Elementary run or walk .25 miles at the beginning of recess. They can run or walk extra laps throughout the day to earn an extra "1/4 mile lap ticket." On Oct. 4, third grader Sebastian Tanka was recognized for completing 25 miles this year.

Marching Hawks KA-BOOM Performance

 

Enjoy an evening of thrilling musical adventure as the Cooper High School Marching Band presents "KA-BOOM!" on Friday, November 1, 7-9 p.m., at Robbinsdale Cooper High School. All proceeds will support Cooper's Marching Hawks and their first ever band trip. WCCO television personality Jason DeRusha will be master of ceremonies for the event. Vote for Teacher of the Year
Robbinsdale Area Schools is now accepting nominations for the 2013-2014 district Teacher of the Year through Dec. 9. Anyone can nominate a teacher - students, parents, administrators, colleagues, and community members.  Self-nominations are also accepted. The nomination form can be found online at www.rftonline.org. Winter Clothing Drive

The New Hope Women of Today are collecting winter outerwear for Robbinsdale Area Schools students. Please consider donating before the Oct. 25 deadline. For more information about donating, click here

 

41st Annual Cooper Arts and Crafts Fair
The Cooper Art and Craft Fair is a place to show and purchase 100% hand-made products. Proceeds from this event are donated to the Lavon H. Cooper District 281 Scholarship Fund, other various district programs, and to various New Hope Women of Today community programs.  The fair is from 9 a.m - 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Cooper High School.

Family Fun Halloween Concert
Come hear fun, spooky music from Cooper's orchestra and enjoy treats, games and activities at Cooper High School on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. There is a $3 admission, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Cooper orchestra. Click here for more information.
 

Annual Food Drive

Staff and students are welcome to drop off canned and boxed food items to their respective buildings for the annual food drive, now through Oct. 29.
