Resource and Welcome Center in Need of Supplies
 
Robbinsdale Area Schools Resource and Welcome Center is in need of school supplies throughout the school year. The Resource and Welcome Center (RWC) registers families who are new to the country and/or who speak a language other than English in the home. As part of the registration process, RWC provides new students with school supplies to give them a good start in Robbinsdale Area Schools. The RWC is located in Sandburg Learning Center, room 55, 2400 Sandburg Lane, Golden Valley 55427, and their phone number is 763-504-7680. SEA's First Annual Family 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
 

The School of Engineering and Arts held its first annual Family 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on Sept. 20. Golden Valley Mayor Shep Harris participated in the run and Superintendent Sicoli and School Board Treasurer Patsy Green handed out ribbons to participants. Upcoming Events

Armstrong Homecoming Parade

Armstrong's Homecoming parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. starting in the upper parking lot (located on the school's Eastern border). Following the parade, everyone is invited to tailgate in the parking lot and enjoy food and music. The homecoming football game will kick off at 7 p.m. when the Falcons take on the Park Center Pirates. For more information about the Community Parade,

Cooper Homecoming  
This week is the 49th annual homecoming week at Cooper. The homecoming game is at 7 p.m. on Friday night at Cooper's stadium against the St. Louis Park Orioles. For more information about Cooper's homecoming activities,
