Student Survey

Robbinsdale Area Schools will conduct a student opinion survey with students in grades 4-12 between February 19 and March 8. Each school will choose a date and time during this time frame.

The survey focuses on goals set by the school board and will take approximately 15 minutes during the school day. The purpose of this survey is to gain the students' perspective on a number of items, including a sense of belonging, teacher expectations, diversity, safety, and fair discipline. The results will be one item used by the district in determining the effectiveness of district programs. While the results of the survey are public, individual students are not identifiable.

Cooper High School Presents The Wiz

Don't miss the classic musical that put an urban spin on The Wizard of Oz. The Broadway production, opening in the mid-70s, won seven Tony Awards, including best musical. The movie, released in 1978 and starring Michael Jackson and Diana Ross, was nominated for four Oscars. The story is familiar, and the music is fantastic.

Show dates are Feb. 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23 at 7:00 p.m., and Feb. 16 at 2:00 p.m. There will also be a senior citizen matinee on Feb. 13 at 3:30. (Yes, it would be a great Valentine's Day activity!)
