All Pro Dads at NorthportNorthport Elementary School is working toward increased parental involvement and academic achievement. A new initiative at Northport is giving dads and male guardians the chance to get involved at their children's schools. It's called All Pro Dads. This group held its first breakfast at the school on Monday, November 12. All Pro Dads at Northport is a great opportunity for dads to connect with their child's school building in ways they may not have done before. The program is an opportunity for dads to press the "pause" button on their busy mornings and spend time with their children in a school setting. All Pro Dads is a national program sponsored by the Family First Organization founded by former NFL head coach Tony Dungy. The program promotes dads and their children spending time together. Northport is the 17th program to begin in Minnesota. There are 1150 programs in 47 states around the country. ____________________________________________________________
