Domestic Violence Professionals Fly In
August 9th & 10th

Member Agency Domestic Violence Professionals are invited to attend AJFCA's Domestic Violence Professionals Fly In on Sunday, August 9th & Monday, August 10th at Jewish Child & Family Services of Chicago (Roger S. Bloch Child & Family Counseling Center at the Goldie Bachmann Luftig Building|5150 W. Golf Road | Skokie, IL 60077). Member agency domestic violence professionals will discuss engaging Jewish Institutions in education and policy development,  reaching out to the Orthodox community, long term outcomes and clinical and community work. There will be time for networking and facilitated discussions on key topics. We hope you will join your colleagues for this informative and energizing day.

REGISTRATION
The registration fee for the Domestic Violence Professionals Fly In is $95 and includes, (kosher style) appetizers on Sunday and (kosher) lunch and snacks on Monday, programming and up to 5.5 continuing education credits. Registration will close on Friday, July 31st.





HOTEL
A group block has been established at the Hampton Inn & Suites - Chicago North Shore
(5201 Old Orchard Road | Skokie, IL 60077). The room rate is $134 per night. Book by calling  the hotel (847) 583-2402 and mentioning that you are part of the AJFCA room block or via this link. The room rate applies to Sunday, August 9th -Tuesday, August 11th. The cut-off to book is July 9th. Reservations include:

PROGRAMMING
This gathering is not a conference or a day of topic focused learning sessions. The idea behind the joining of domestic violence professionals is for each individual to bring their knowledge and expertise to the table so that we can hold conversations. More detailed programming information will be made available in the coming weeks.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
Please be aware that the following states (New York, Michigan, West Virginia) do not accept National CE Approval Programs and require individual program/provider application processes. The following states (New Jersey, Idaho, Oregon) currently do not recognize NASW National Approval. Applications can be submitted to NASW State Chapters. AJFCA is in the process of looking into becoming licensed through other associations.
