Join AJFCA for the 2015 Annual Conference at the  
Hilton Miami Downtown this May
The 2015 AJFCA Annual Conference is a two and a half day interactive and informative experience for professional and lay leaders from AJFCA member agencies and partner organizations throughout North America. Agency leaders share their common experiences in leading Jewish family service agencies in their communities and learn together interesting and innovative ideas from the field.

This year's conference theme is connect|miami:  building community together, which will challenge attendees by focusing on leveraging the collective impact of our network, with an eye toward building resilience in our agencies. Interactive sessions will include the following areas of focus:
  • Executive Leadership :  Leadership Development & Performance Management, Recognizing & Retaining Top Talent, HIPAA Compliance, Integrated Behavioral Health, Earned Income
  • Agency Services:  Serving Vulnerable Populations, Services to the Orthodox Community, Senior Companion/Boomer Engagement, Elder Abuse, Disabilities & Inclusion, Bullying/Dating Abuse, Domestic Violence 
  • Fund Development & Marketing:  Re-branding, Media Relations, Donor Cultivation, Storytelling, Appealing to Jewish & Non-Jewish Audiences   
  • Board Leadership:  Strategic Planning & Board Engagement, Executive & Board Evaluations, Leadership Development, Executive/Board Open Dialogue Workshop, Top Issues Facing Board Leaders 
  • Volunteer/Young Adult Engagement:  Volunteer Engagement as Organizational Strategy, Family Volunteering, Approaches to Young Adult Engagement
Basic Tentative Schedule

Friday, May 1st - Salzman New Executives Institute (12-5p & on-site dinner)
Saturday, May 2nd - Havdallah & Dessert Reception (9p)
Sunday, May 3rd - programming, plenary lunch, host community event
Monday, May 4th - plenary breakfast, awards, programming, small group lunches 

Tuesday, May 5th - programming, closing plenary (ends at noon), CEO Council
