Jewish Family Service of Colorado is pleased to announce that Lunchbox Express (LBX) will be incorporated as a program of JFS. LBX is a simple mobile food delivery system that targets discrete areas of underserved children and brings free lunch to them during the summer.

Accountable Care Organization: Steps to Get Involved
Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) are an undeniable part of future healthcare. ACOs were introduced to the healthcare field as part of the Affordable Care Act, and involve the merging of different specialty provider entities into single organizations able to better coordinate care, improve quality, and cut costs. These integrated "centers" of care will serve as the foundation for healthcare's future as more and more payers are investing in them - and providers that don't get involved now are at risk losing business. Visit the ACO page for more information.

How to Connect with a New Generation of Donors and Volunteers
The Millennial generation-those 80 million folks born roughly between 1979-99-may not be your organization's largest contributors today, but these "digital natives" are poised to receive the largest transfer of wealth from their Baby Boomer and Greatest Generation parents and grandparents. Nearly $41 trillion is expected to flow from one generation to the next in the decades to come. Yes, Boomers will continue be your fundraising bread and butter over the next few years, but there's no denying the fact that Millennials will become more important to the long-term future of charitable giving. Learn what this means for nonprofits. |
