White House Appoints Special Envoy for U.S. Holocaust Survivor Services
The White House has announced the appointment of Aviva Sufian as the first Special Envoy for U.S. Holocaust Survivor Services in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This appointment follows Vice President Biden's announcement last December to focus on assisting impoverished Holocaust Survivors. AJFCA and JFNA are leading the effor to implement this initiative. Ms. Sufian will be available to speak with our members at the Government Affairs Institute and on subsequent phone calls. We look forward to this exciting partnership!
