Good afternoon. As you can see in the picture, we are gearing up for the CERT Wrapping Days taking place this Saturday and Monday from 9am until 9pm each day. (What you don't see in the picture is the boxes filled up in the hallway.)
LE Toyland
It is quite the task!! Needless to say, "We need your help." We know this
is a busy time of the ye
ar but even a few hours would help (all day would be better). So bring your scissors and stop on by to help us wrap these gifts that will put a smile on hundreds of kids faces on Christmas Eve. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided.

This coming Sunday is our Fire District Christmas Party. Please see the details below and sign up at www.lefdchristmas.eventbrite.com. This is OUR opportunity to thank you for your commitment to our communities.

On Tuesday we will be having a meeting of the CERT Advisory Council to discuss the training schedule for 2016. I would like your input on what you would like to see in 2016.
  • Do you prefer the Saturday trainings or the Monday evening trainings?
  • Do you think the "Next Step" Courses are beneficial?
  • What subjects do you think we should focus on?
  • How do we get our CERT members more involved?

The CAC meeting is open to any CERT member. If you have any ideas, please email me, talk with me during the Wrapping Days, or attend the CAC meeting. We are really interested in what you think and want to see in 2016.

Respectfully,

K. Larry Thompson, Captain
