Good afternoon. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and are looking forward to the Christmas Season. We have scheduled the CERT Wrapping Days and the Fire District Christmas Party. Please see the invitation and details below. The Christmas Party is hosted each each to thank YOU for your service to our communities. We hope you will attend.

As we close out 2015, we are focussed on the LEAPN2CERT Conference in February. Our Pancake Breakfast in November raised $1,050 towards the conference, the Tierra Verde Women's Club through a private donation has donated $250 and the Tierra Verde Business Partnership has donated $3,000 towards the conference! So I'm happy to announce because of the donations we have received, the cost of the conference will be ONLY $50 which covers the meals!!!! So please plan now to join us on February 25th through February 28th at the LEAPN2CERT Conference. Registration will be opening soon.

I hope each of you have a Merry Christmas and a great 2016. We really do appreciate your commitment to our communities and our fire district.

12/17/2015: CERT RADIO NET - The Lealman CERT Amateur Radio Club ''KI4ZKR'' holds a bi-monthly net on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month beginning at 8pm. The net starts on the N4AAC Repeater 145.310 MHz, PL tone of 103.5. Following the Repeater check-in the net moves to the CERT Simplex Frequency of 146.580 MHz. This is a controlled net. Please listen to and follow net controls instructions. RSVP on MM.

12/19/2015: CERT WRAPPING DAYS - Each year, CERT members help wrap presents for delivery to children throughout the Lealman Fire District. There are literally 100's of presents to wrap! This is a drop in event being held on Saturday, December 19th and Monday, December 21st from 9am until 9pm. Please, BYOS (Bring Your Own Scissors). Lunch & Dinner will be provided. Wrapping will take place at Fire Station #18 located at 4360 55th Avenue North, 33714. Please enter your own timekeeping in MM for this event.
