Good evening. I hope everyone had a great weekend and took a moment to reflect on the freedom we enjoy because of the military personnel who gave their lives protecting that freedom. To those who have lost loved ones in the military, thank you for your sacrifice.

We need help this Saturday, May 30th! Several months ago we participated in a "Prepare" event in Lealman that resulted in installing over 125 smoke alarms in a high risk area in Lealman. On Saturday, May 30th, in partnership with the American Red Cross, we will be conducting our second Prepare event in Grid 541A. (Generally, the area between Haines Rd and 28th Street and 62nd Avenue N to 70th Avenue North.)  We need help to  nstall alarms, educate our citizens in fire safety and, if you don't want to actually assist in installing the alarms, we can use you at the clubhouse preparing the alarms for installation. We that Smoke alarms DO save lives and that is the reason that you participate in CERT. Join us at 8:15am at the Sawgrass Mobile Home Community located at 3035 66th Avenue North and help us save lives. We need your help, so RSVP on Mission Manager or email me that you will be attending. (If you have a cordless drill and/or a step ladder, please bring these items with you.) Please wear your CERT vest. Thank you in advance for your help.

As Hurricane Season approaches, are you ready?

Respectfully,

K. Larry Thompson, Captain
