Tickets available now for Sail Away
Season subscription and single tickets are now available at the 42nd St Moon box office. Ticket prices range from $25-75. Last seen on the West Coast in 2005 (in a concert setting in Los Angeles), Sail Away will be a special treat for S.F. Bay Area fans of Coward's musicals. Allison F. Rich stars as Mimi Paragon , the role Coward wrote for Elaine Stritch - Stritch's first starring role on Broadway and London's West End.

Use code NCSOCIETY for a 10% discount on all tickets except for: previews (they are already heavily discounted), Saturday evening and Sunday matinee shows, VIP tickets, and Economy Tier tickets (also already heavily discounted). Session on Coward at the MLA Convention in Austin, TX 7 Jan 2016

"Caviar or Marmalade? Reassessing Noël Coward"
Any West-Coast academicians thinking of heading to Texas for the MLA convention next January? Need extra incentive? How about this special session on Coward:
Thursday, 7 January 2016, 12:00-1:15PM MLA Annual Convention Austin Convention Center Austin, TX
From the MLA announcement: "This special session will cast Coward as an object for ongoing scholarly critique by inviting discussion about Coward's unique contributions to, as well as his particular perspective on, subjects including genre, identity, critical inheritance, and modernism. The session will feature three papers and will conclude with a fifteen-minute Q&A."
The three presenters are:
- Sos Eltis,Tutorial Fellow in English at Brasenose College, Oxford
- Penelope Farfan, Professor of Drama at the University of Calgary
- Samuel Lyndon Gladden, Professor of Literature and Associate Dean of the School of Human Sciences and Humanities at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He plans to issue a call for a collection of essays on Coward following the 2016 MLA convention.
