Greetings!
It has been a bad time for countrywide heroes. Far too often we learn that a man or woman for whom the citizenry had great respect and admiration, with virtues we strove to emulate, turns out to have feet of clay. Athletes who out paced their competitors were found to have benefited from chemical enhancements; politicians are caught with both hands in the till or other violations of their public trust; military leaders are unfaithful; religious pillars took advantage of their positions with youthful innocents and on and on. Even organizations held in high regard have had ugly blemishes and stains revealed. Disillusionment abounds. Who can we look up to then? Just glance around you! It took Hurricane Sandy to again bring home that we have genuine heroes amongst us still. Who were they? The First Responders who risked their own lives to save others; the utility linemen, swinging in aerial buckets while wrestling with high tension lines to restore power; the ordinary people who shared blankets, food, clothing, friendship to strangers and did good deeds without reservation or regrets. There may not be a national champion for us to esteem but there are plenty of anonymous locals whose acts we can revere. Unsung, unrecognized but not unnoticed. Join me in saluting them for their deeds. God Bless them!
"True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others, at whatever cost." Arthur Ashe
Sincerely,

Are you still on tracks?
Well, maybe you shouldn't be. If you are doing excavations in an urban area, tracked excavators are slower than molasses when moving from job to job. Load them on a trailer, chain them down, move to the next location, you know the drill. Truck, trailer, driver time = $$$! If you want productivity you need speed! Wacker Neuson has a better idea, excavators on wheels that go as fast as 25 MPH!
In the 60 minutes it takes to load/unload a tracked excavator, you could be digging! How often do you move your machine each day? With a wheeled excavator you can save 60 minutes each time. That's two hours for every round trip to one job site. In 12 minutes you can get to your job 5 miles away with no trucking. Just calculate the savings:
- Within a 25 mile work radius, be anywhere in an hour
- No Trailer/space restrictions
- Easy access to narrow roads
- Travel on asphalt without damage to the road
- Navigate downtown areas with ease (no trailer)
Maneuverability is key. Want to know more? Click on Wacker Neuson 6503 and 9503 Wheeled Excavators Brochure Wacker Neuson offers two year/2,000 hour complete machine warranty coverage and optional extended service plan menus that go to five years/5,000 hours. Qualified buyers can apply for generous financing programs too.
