Dear SEPTA Members & Friends,
We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thanks to all who came out to support SEPTA in the Turkey Trot!
As you can see in our newsletter, there are several upcoming events we want to make you aware of. We hope to see you at our program on Monday night - What's Happening on the Playground? On Tuesday night the school board invites the community to discuss the future of our schools. Also, if you are a parent of a high school student who plans to take the SAT, please see the opportunity to take a sample test with accommodations your child currently receives. And please join us at our next coffee. It is a great opportunity to share ideas and insights with each other.
Please enjoy our SEPTA eNews and stay in touch. We are here for you.
If you have news to share you believe is of interest to our readers, please send it to us.
Thank you for your support!

Popular Mock SAT to be Administered with Accommodations as Needed - Saturday, Dec. 8!
For several years, MHS PTSA has offered, through Revolution Pr ep, the opportunity for students to sit for Mock SAT and ACT exams. Next week, for the first time, students with Section 504 or IEP's will have the opportunity to take the Mock SAT with certain accommodations, including time and a half, separate setting, writing in test book and use of a computer. Mock SAT will be given Saturday, Dec 8, MHS Post Road building. Registration fee is $20; all proceeds benefit PTSA.
Please call Revolution Prep at 877-738-7737 to request specific accommodations when registering or e-mail MHS SEPTA reps with any questions: sandidan@optonline.net or lawlessfamily@optonline.net. Deadline for students requesting accommodations is 10 pm, Wednesday, Dec. 5. For more information on the mock testing program, visit Revoluion Prep on the PTSA website. Note: Revolution Prep will provide accommodations upon request. However, for the actual SAT and ACT, the respective testing companies decide in their sole discretion whether to grant accommodations, and neither receiving accommodations from Revolution Prep or having them on an IEP or 504 plan is a guarantee that they will be granted by the testing companies.
Many thanks to the MHS PTSA for their efforts on this inclusive initiative.
SEPTA is providing this information as a courtesy to families who may want to participate in this ongoing PTSA program. This announcement is not to be construed as an endorsement of any of the programming or its providers.
