As part of our efforts during National Distracted Driving Awareness Month, Rosco Vision Systems participated in the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Distracted Driving Technology Showcase on April 19th in Washington DC. The Distracted Driving Technology Showcase is part of the FCC's campaign to end the harmful and sometimes fatal consequences of texting while driving. Among the participants and attendees was the National Transportation Safety Board's (NTSB) Chairman, Deborah Hersman. Chairman Hersman has long been an advocate for distracted driving prevention and emphasizes the NTSB's role as "the conscience and the compass of the transportation industry."

On March 26th a Indiana firefighter was injured when a slab of ice flew off another vehicle and slammed into the fire truck. Footage from Dual-Vision Continuous Automotive Event Recorder was used in filing the police report and the unit was shown in the news report below at the 1:15 mark.
