Financial Workshops Begin October 22

Barnum Presents First Programs
"Smart Money Moves in Your 20's and 30's". This seminar focuses on how to take the first important steps toward helping you learn more about the importance of money and investing, good saving habits, tax consideration and creating a budget. As a continuation of the seminar, employees receive an opportunity for a complimentary one-hour consultation. Barnum Financial Group The first two programs in the series will be presented by Barnum Financial Group, an office of MetLife and will be hosted at their offices at 6 Corporate Drive in Shelton. Light refreshments will also be served.

The first session is slated for October 22 at 5:30, and it will be a Financial Management Workshop focused on risk management and cash management, as well as investment planning and tax planning. Participants will be informed about the potential benefits of effective financial management, and show some techniques that can assist in reaching your financial goals and overcome roadblocks that keep most people from achieving financial success. As a continuation of the seminar, participants receive an opportunity for a complimentary one-hour consultation. Light refreshments will also be served.

Financial Workshops for Individuals and Families
This month Valley United Way is beginning a free series of ongoing Financial Planning Workshops designed to help individuals and families make informed decisions on the numerous financial issues that affect quality of life. United Way will be partnering with respected financial experts to offer the sessions.  Registration will be required for all sessions.
