A couple of familiar faces turned up as the winners of the first ever Corporate Cup Cornhole Tournament last night. Jeff Westine & Mike Zascirinskis, who have dominated Darts in the past, now look to add Cornhole to their legacy after a commanding win. They went undefeated in sweeping through the largest (excluding Healthy Team) team turnout in Corporate Cup history as 47 teams competed.

The next team event on the schedule is the Horseshoes Tournament slated for April 27 at the pits located on the grounds of American Legion Sutter-Terlizzi Post #16 along Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton. A new bonus - "Count Your Steps"

Did you get your pedometers and register your team yet for the "Count Your Steps" bonus challenge? If not, there's still time and plenty of pedometers to go around. We're giving away free pedometers for everyone in the Healthy Team event, everyone planning to run in June - or anyone who just wants to get more fit. This is a bonus point event for Healthy Team. You can earn up to 5 bonus points. Points will be earned for averaging the following number of steps from April 14 to May 17:
70,000 steps=5 pts 60,000 steps= 4 pts 50,000 steps-= 3 pts 40,000 steps = 2 pts 30,000 steps= 1pt And it is also be a special bonus event for the Corporate Cup itself. Your company can earn up to 5 bonus points - one for each person (up to a maximum of 5 - not including healthy team participants) meeting the target level. Each company can have up to 10 people participate, but only the five best will earn points, and the team bonus will be whatever the lowest achieving member of the group of 5 earns. |
