Council Members Help the Valley Bundle Up!

Conference Rooms Getting a Lot of Usage
Valley United Way's New Home
As we approach the first anniversary of our move to 54 Grove Street, we are extremely pleased by the amount of use that our two conference rooms are getting. Both the Raymond P. Lavietes and the Katharine Matthies Rooms have been in constant use by Valley nonprofits for a wide variety of meetings and trainings. Valley United Way is pleased to be able to offer the rooms for such community use. The guidelines and application can be found here.

 Updated Website Coming Soon

Did you know that Valley United Way was the very first United Way in Connecticut to have a website on the Internet, or that our site was once judged the best United Way website in the country for our size or smaller United Ways? We have also been pioneers with video before there was YouTube, e-Groups before there was Facebook and listserves before there was Twitter. However, we have to confess that though our site always contains the latest news, it is a bit outdated in look and feel. However, thanks to the generous support of the Raymond P. Lavietes Foundation that will all change in 2013. Watch for our first major upgrade and functionality in February!
