Business Spotlight: MVFPD |
The Mountain View Fire District provides an array of emergency and non-emergency services including: Fire, Rescue, Advanced Life Support Transport Services and Basic Life Support Emergency Medical Service, Public Education, Fire Prevention, and other specialized services to the 50,000 permanent residents and a commuting population of over 60,000 in a 184-square-mile response area. Mountain View Fire is a combination organization. Our District proudly serves areas in rural Longmont, Mead, Del Camino, Dacono, Erie, Brownsville, and Niwot as well as unincorporated Boulder and Weld counties. Route: Up Boulder Canyon to Nederland, north along the Peak-to-Peak Highway to St. Vrain Canyon Road then descend into Erie and back to the Boulder campus.
About 1,500 riders will pass through Erie between 11:15 am and 3:00 pm. The Chamber will sponsor an aid station at the Erie Community Center with 5 volunteers and we'll be providing a variety of cyclist-ready snacks as the riders pass through. |
