Welcome to Century Farmhouse in 2013!
The lid on my January Box is officially open! I don't know if you have one, but we get so busy during the year, that soap recipe ideas, customer suggestions, new marketing tools, etc., all go into the proverbial January Box to be sorted through and worked on in...
January!
So, even though we've entered what can be a slow season for shoppers, it has been pretty busy at Century Farmhouse. The calendar is filling up, classes have been scheduled, new products have been designed, and we have been catching up with local events and projects. This year we are adding a second soap making class, and are increasing our wholesale work by adding wholesale events in Atlanta. There is a new Country Living Fair venue to meet you at, and you will see our product lines growing - in addition to soaps. We are continuing our partnership with FOLK Magazine, and if you didn't have the opportunity to learn more about the inspiration that fuels the creative process at Century Farmhouse, you can catch up here. On Friday January 25, the Diva Group is hosting a Door-to-Door event... don't miss this! Save the Dates!
Soap making classes have been scheduled for 2013, so plan to be part of the fun on Saturday August 3, or Saturday November 9 in the Open Wings Art Studio at Cedar Valley Retreat Center & Spa in West Bend, Wisconsin. More details will follow in the months to come, so start thinking about the kind of soap you'd like to make and plan to join us!

The Diva Events 2013
One of the fine things about being in a community that loves to have fun, is the camaraderie and friendship that exists among the people who own and work at the Specialty Shops in our town. (I suspect it is the same in your town, too!) Everyone has great ideas and everyone else has a grand time celebrating them.
