Office of Alumni Engagement
Greetings!

Welcomes & Sendoffs...

As we send this email out from the Alumni office, we are gearing up to welcome our new Associate Director of Alumni & Parent Engagement even as we go out on the road for two weeks of "Summer Send Off" picnics.  It's a busy time in the Smith Alumni House!

If that weren't enough excitement, we have also just had the lower level of the alumni house repainted - and would love to have you stop by and see the new-and-improved house if you're in the area!

Go Scots!

New Associate Director of Alumni & Parent Engagement: Robyn Carr'04!

RobynCarr'04

Robyn comes to us from Eastern Illinois University, where she was most recently the Director of Donor Relations.  Robyn has been on the Alma College Alumni Board for 3 years and has also stayed very involved with her sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma, on both the local and international levels. She brings along her husband, Justin, and future Scot, Alex (2).

In this new role, Robyn will be focusing on student, young alum and parent engagement as well as assisting with all-alumni programming.

Welcome, Robyn!

Summer Send Off Picnics!

If you are an alum, student, parent, or friend of the College in one of our areas of major alumni concentration, you should have gotten either an email or postcard invitation to a "Summer Send Off" picnic over the next two weeks. While we still have a month left of what we traditionally consider "summer," we'll have students headed back to campus by mid-August, and these picnics are an effort to help bring the whole "Alma Family" together as we send them back to campus (including incoming first-year students).
