Office of Alumni Engagement
Well, the shortest month of the year has certainly flown by - helped along by a busy month of events! We were able to visit some of our snowbirds (and full-time warm-locale residents) in New Mexico, Arizona and Florida, and we're wrapping up the month with a jam-packed schedule leading up to Resonance.
Resonance: A Celebration of the Performing Arts is a fantastic showcase of our student talent, featuring the choir, percussion ensemble, highland dancers, bagpipers and dance company and will take place this Sunday at DeVos Hall in Grand Rapids. It was such a proud moment for alumni who attended last year's performance at the Detroit Opera House; I have no doubt this year will equal or surpass.
The choir and percussion ensemble are both out this week touring west Michigan with daytime school visits and evening performances in an effort to connect with prospective students, alumni and friends. If you're close enough to make it, we would love to see you in the audience!

Financial Aid season is here! Admissions representatives are tearing up the phone lines calling families to help with their financial aid paperwork. Beginning March 1 the Financial Assistance office will be putting financial aid packages together for families; at this time we see many of our students making their final decision. Now more than ever we need to be showing the value of the Alma College education and the opportunities they have by choosing AC!
Numbers continue to look positive; with over 2,300 applications and 1,600 accepted students we are confident our class will be as strong as ever.
Don't forget, referring the perfect Alma student (link below) helps shape our class and reach our goals. Thanks for the help you have given so far this year!
