Friendship's Links May Ne'er Be Broken Reunion 2013 Enjoyed by All!
Each year, although not speechless, SJCiennes struggle to explain how meaningful it is to return to the annual reunion. Here is how one of the Golden attendees from the class of '63 put it a few days later:
"To all the rest of my classmates.....I wonder if you know how much this reunion meant to me. It was like coming home after a long absence. As I looked around the room that last evening your little faces were the same as they were at St. Joes....the expressions, the laughs and the gestures. I thank each and every one of you for this cherished memory and will meet you again at the 55th. A special Hoorah to all those selfless ladies who put their time toward our celebration. You must know it was a spectacular success."
From the Class of '53, Joan Billerbeck and Suzanne Kiser Crock gladly represented their class' 60th Reunion at the Alumnae Memorial MassA highlight of the Basket Raffle was a handmade quilt by Kaywood Greeve '63. The Class of '63 requested that a special raffle be held for this item, with the proceeds contributed to the SJCAA Scholarship Fund.
Additional photos are being reviewed now for inclusion on our website. We'll let you know when they are posted. Meanwhile, plan now to attend Reunion 2014, March 27-30, 2014 at the Wyndham Hotel, Gettysburg, PA.
We appreciate all who attended and all who worked to make Reunion 2013 a memorable event for those who were there. |
