Dear St. Joseph College Alumnae,

It's a New Year and a new edition of The Valley Echo has been prepared for your reading and viewing pleasure. You may view the online version of the Winter 2013 Valley Echo now.

A print copy will be mailed within the next few weeks to all dues-paying members of our SJC Alumnae Association. Because we mail at a bulk rate, it is hard to know exactly when it will arrive at your home, but it is coming. We hope you enjoy this online version until then.

Thanks to your loyal and hard-working volunteer Class Agents, this edition offers a robust roundup of Class News. Please keep your Agents updated on your activities. Other content highlights include:

  • A special message from our SJCAA President, Maureen McPartland Smith '65
  • Information on ordering replacement class rings
  • A touching account of nurses from the Class of 1967 reuniting and reconnecting at an SJC Reunion, which led to an exciting European adventure
  • An update on our Association's finances. (Thank you for your support!)
  • Information on Reunion 2013, to be held April 4-7 at the Gettysburg Wyndham Hotel. This upcoming event is not to be missed, no matter what year you graduated from or attended SJC!
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we assembled the news of the Valley. Please be sure to renew your dues and contacts with SJCAA so that you receive all updates. Take time to browse the website and visit us on Facebook to join the conversation.

Here's to a healthy, happy year for all of us. The year 2013 marks 40 years since the close of our college, but isn't it wonderful that, four decades later, we remain "All Together!"

We are so very grateful for your continued support.

Warm regards,
