Happenings and Updates: February 2014
Greetings CATV Viewers!

We hope you're enjoying 2014 so far! We've been busy here at the WRJ studio. We have installed a new broadcast system and we hope that you're enjoying better picture and a much better bulletin board that plays between shows on both channels.

We're also back to a full and busy staff with the addition of HACTC intern, Kali, and new full time education staff member, Sophie!

As always, feel free to contact us with questions or comments and let us know how we can better serve our community with local media!

A New Video Camp!

For the first time, CATV is offering a lighter version of video camp during winter and spring vacation.   We are calling this Video Camp Light!   The winter video camp light will be the week of February 17, 2014.

CATV will operate our video camp light Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This installment of camp is open for students who are in the 5th through 9th grade.

Students will select a project that they will work on the entire four days. These projects will randomly be drawn from a hat and the video campers will use their imagination to put this production together.  This is really like a video camp light film slam! The final productions will be added to CATV's Vimeo page and broadcast on channel 10 on Comcast cable.

The cost of video camp light is $75.00 per student. There will be some of our video camp counselors working with students during these four days.  This camp is limited to 15 students on a first come first serve basis.

Government Videographers Needed!

PART-TIME MUNICIPAL MEETING VIDEOGRAPHER, $15 AN HOUR

You must be able to work nights, have your own vehicle, and be able to lift moderately heavy A/V equipment. Experience in A/V production is a plus but not necessary, we will train you.

For more info please contact CATV's Coordinator of Municipal Meeting Videography Luke Chrisinger: luke@catv8.org, 802-295-6688
