Happenings and Updates: August 2013

Greetings CATV Viewers! As summer is winding down, we're still in the thick of our awesome video camps! It's been busy (and noisy!!) in our classroom and studio for the past three weeks, and we still have three weeks left to go!
We've had amazing groups of creative kids so far, and we're so excited to meet more of you in the weeks to come!

The first group of both advanced and beginner camps produced great work!
Weeks one and two of video camp made some great videos! We're currently airing them on channel 10 and you can play them on demand anytime on our Vimeo Page!

Did You Know....
CATV is your go-to channel for the inside scoop on Lebanon! "Lebanon in Depth" with City Manager Greg Lewis tapes  bi-weekly and "Points of Interest" with
Lebanon Chamber of Commerce President Paul Boucher tapes weekly!
Both shows play on channel 8 four days a week. Check our current schedules for the most up to date information!

Upcoming Competitions!
Horror enthusiasts, take note! We're once again gearing up for our annual Halloween-o-thon, which will take place at the end of October! Check out last year's entries for some inspiration: 2012 Halloween-o-thon
Listen up local bands! We want to see how creative you can be! We'll soon be releasing details on our newest MUSIC VIDEO competition coming in March, 2014! This will be for local musicians or bands who want to create an innovative music video for their own original song. If you're not completely video literate, we're happy to pair you with one of our own wonderful producers to help you develop, shoot, & edit your work! Logistics are still in developmental stages, so stay tuned for all the details to be announced soon!
