Featured Producer: Judy McKeown Judy hosts studio show Spirit of the Valley and snags some of the most interesting folks in the Upper Valley as guests!
Give us a little history of your background with CATV. How did you get started? I got started with Spirit of the Valley after finishing a series about fitness with a trainer I had worked with. With my arm being twisted, and lots of brainstorming about my own show, it made sense. To avoid running into the fitness concept, I chose 'spirit', which covers almost anyone I meet!
Tell us about Spirit of the Valley. What do you want people to get out of watching your show? I hope people will realize through the show, what a remarkable area we live in. There is an endless number of exciting, interesting and resourceful, 'spirited' if you will, people in the Upper Valley, all with a fantastic story to tell. Who was your most memorable guest?
It would be difficult to say who has been my most memorable guest. Hannah Kearney, who is a friend and launched

the show with me certainly stands out, with her winning the gold medal in the 2010 But with an English Channel swimmer, boomerang inventor, three brothers, all of whom coach varsity winter sports in Hanover, cross country bikers, how do I choose?
Who would be your ideal guest to interview? I have yet to get my hands on Bob Franzoni! Seriously, there are too many to mention but I think I have enough years left to get some of them.
What is your favorite part of hosting Spirit of the Valley?
My favorite part of hosting Spirit of the Valley is not only interviewing some amazing people, but doing it in such a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. It feels like a simple conversation with a friend, since I don't have any script. I
think back to when I was approached to do my own show and the term "freaked out" applied. Now it feels totally relaxed and just plain fun.
You can catch Judy's show prime time on CATV 8/10 or see her on demand on her Vimeo Channel!
