Hey there, have you seen your new website? If not, get online now and check it out. We have launched! Sometime today, you should receive an email from The Shipyard that provides your new active URL. If you do not see that email, first check your spam box to ensure the email is not there, then contact Eric Burger at EricBurger@ComfortKeepers.com for this information.
We want you to know that although the hard part is over, there is still plenty to do. Regular updates to your website will help make you stand out in searches. To support you in your efforts, we want to remind you that The Shipyard will be offering training webinars (see schedule below) to show you how you can make changes and update your site on your own.
In addition to training webinars, The Shipyard is offering three support packages that you can take advantage of to make your site work for you. You can view the package options here or contact Jake Wilk at JWilk@TheShipyard.com or (888) 738-9750 with questions or to order services.
For those who want basic support, beginning April 14 CKFI will offer franchisees up to two basic changes each month to their sites. Basic changes include staff bios, office location, or copy updates. We will post instructions for requesting changes in future Friday Flash articles.

Immediate Corrections for Critical Issues With the launch of over 400 websites, the ComfortKeepers.com site and the individual franchisee sites, there are bound to be problematic items that need additional attention. This is typical of website launches of this magnitude. We want to address any critical issues as soon as possible. To best serve all franchisees and help ensure their sites are running smoothly, CKFI will have a full-time support person dedicated to addressing critical issues for the next two weeks. Critical issues fall into one of these categories: - Corrections to contact information, including phone numbers and addresses
- Corrections to services or products listed on your site
- Broken links
- Functionality issues, i.e. some aspect of the site does not work as intended
If you find a critical issue upon reviewing your new website, please submit a request for correction. CKFI will address all of these issues, the most critical first, as quickly as possible. This submission process is solely for critical issues, not routine updates and changes. Vanity URL Requests Several franchisees have requested a second URL with a different town or city that can be used in their marketing materials. We will be accepting requests for vanity URLs at a later date once we have addressed any issues on the existing sites and franchisees have completed training on optimizing their sites. Keep in mind that vanity URLs may be approved only after a detailed review. Again, watch the Friday Flash for information on when you can submit your vanity URL request. |

Summer Roadshow Date Changes
Hit the road this summer for two exciting roadshows. CKFI will offer The Client Care Roadshow on June 3 and 4 and Salesapalooza on July 15 and 16. Both shows will be held in Dayton, Ohio at the CKFI support center.
