Your Feedback on Internal Communications Counts
 We want your input! Improving internal communications is important to all of us. CKFI has retained a communications organization, Jackson Spalding (JS), to help us review our current channels and messages, and ultimately, recommend a strategy for improvement. To accomplish this, we need franchisees' input and that starts with you taking a 10- minute survey. Below is a link to access the survey. Your responses are anonymous unless you choose to share your name and contact information. The choice is entirely yours. What is important is that you take the time to complete the survey. Don't Forget to Download Your Handouts
 As you pack your bags for the Annual Leadership Conference, do not forget to include your breakout session handouts and presentations! They are now available for you to download and print for your use at the conference. Be sure to double check your sessions. Final updates to the handouts have been added since Monday, April 1, 2013. You will find all materials on CK Members > Training > Leadership Conference > Breakout Sessions. These materials are an excellent supplement to the verbal presentations given during the breakout sessions, panel discussions and roundtables. Supplemental materials will not be handed out at conference, so please remember to download and print your session materials before you leave home. If you do not see any materials to download for a session, then no materials are needed. National Brand Fund Contributions Begin April 28th
When you are completing your royalty report this month, you will see an additional field at the bottom of the report for the National Brand Fund. The field will automatically be populated with either 2% of monthly sales per territory, or, $600.00 per territory, whichever is the lesser. That amount will be debited from your account on April 28th. The email confirmation you normally receive for your royalty will also include confirmation of the National Brand Fund contribution.
To date we have received several hundred signed Brand Fund addenda. It is your choice on whether to sign the addendum, but we ask that either execute the addendum, or, sign the Opt Out form. Please return the documentation to CKFI in the postage-paid envelope as soon as possible.

Improvements to Interactive Caregiving ™ and Nutrition Courses
 The Interactive Caregiving™ course on Silverchair has been updated. The improvements include ease of navigation, guided page completion tracking, and MyPlate nutrition updates. With these changes, we hope you have an improved experience with the Interactive Caregiving course. Also, the instructor-led Nutrition courses located on Members > Training > Training Opportunities > Nutrition have been updated to reflect the MyPlate nutritional guidelines.

(Effective March 1, 2013, the Franchise Fee was raised to $45,000.) In addition, we offer financing for your expansion territory with only $5,000 down, and finance the balance of the cost for 30 months at 6% simple interest. Also, the $300 minimum royalty payment only on that expansion territory does not begin until the 30th month.
