Exhibition Overview Photoworks Gallery and Photography School is pleased to announce the 7th annual "Mirror to the World" exhibition of documentary photography. Curated by nationally acclaimed documentary photographer and author, Frank Van Riper, the exhibition will feature five riveting picture stories highlighting people at work, play and prayer, in locales as different as Havana, Cuba, Venice, Italy, and the Lincoln Memorial.
Four of the stories are long photo essays by individual photographers; the fifth is a group effort documenting an ancient textile factory that produces glorious fabrics in the heart of Venice. The four individual exhibiting photographers are: David Myers, Erica Wissolik, Alain Durand and Barbara Tyroler. The group show photographers are: Rik Michaud, Diana Wanamaker, Steve Silverman, Sheryl Denbo, Ginger Werz-Petricka, Ron Petricka and Gana Browning
