National Night Out Against Crime
Aug. 7, 5-8 p.m. at Willis Tucker Park
Join your neighbors and learn the latest in crime prevention during this year's National Night Out Against Crime event.
After more than 10 years of celebrating NNO at McCollum Park, this year's event has been moved to beautiful Willis Tucker Community Park. The park offers plenty of free parking, a free spray park, shelters and large open areas to accommodate the event's free food, face painting, games, live music by Jette and the Resonators and more.
The NNO event is sponsored by the Snohomish County Executive Office in partnership with the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, local police departments and area nonprofit organizations.
Be sure to attend and learn how to prevent crime in your neighborhood and hear what local law enforcement is doing to reduce crime and protect families. |

Kayak and River Meadows Parks get AED's
This week, the Stillaguamish Tribe awarded two automated external defibrillators (AED's) to Kayak Point and River Meadows Parks, thanks to Sr. Park Ranger Mike Remle's successful application.
The AED at each park is a great added tool for the public, which we hope that we never need to use. |
