WHEN IN DOUBT

When the perils of life

Bring unwanted troubles to you

You're distraught and angered

As to how or what to do

Or should you be confronted

By a troublesome foe

Sending unwanted troubles

Knocking at your door

You wonder how to retaliate

As you rationalize it all

But your mind is in a tizzy

Just an inch from that pitfall

Just simply remember

You're not in this alone

The Lord has assessed your problem

While He sits on His throne

He has solved your problems

Before they happen, you know

He waits to see if you will call on Him

Or just how far alone - you will go

That's why He gave

Us all "free will

To see if it's by His "law"

That we would choose to live

I'll tell you how I would react

When "life's turmoil" comes my way

I would simply say to myself

"What would Jesus do or say"

Then I humbly bow down

To my knees in prayer

Knowing whole "heartedly"

That for me, the Lord is there

My faith will not shake

Nor will doubt come in my mind

For I serve the Lord

I know He's with me at all times
